andrew My everyday tee This is my everyday tee. I own Whitesville, Buck Mason tees too, and for daily wear I reach for these instead — and the reason is almost entirely fit. The mideight cotton and real side seams give it structure — it holds its shape and drapes clean instead of clinging, and it's substantial enough that it doesn't wrinkle into a mess by mid-afternoon. It feels a little structured but still moves. They're also noticeably thicker than my Buck Mason Pima and Slub tees, and they feel a lot more durable for it — those thinner tees give out sooner. The tradeoff you'd expect from a heavier tee is heat, but it hasn't really been one: I've been wearing these through a Las Vegas summer and they've worked fine. Not a featherweight hot-weather tee, but more breathable than the weight suggests, and bearable in real desert heat. The fit is the whole reason I prefer it. It runs a touch longer in the body and noticeably less fitted than my @Whitesville tees — and that extra length makes them ideal for tucking, which is most of how I've been wearing them lately. The Whitesville run very small — to me they're basically a muscle fit, better suited to showing off a build than to everyday wear. The LWC sits the way I actually want a tee to sit: clean, slightly relaxed, not tight anywhere. This is my preferred fit, full stop. One honest tradeoff: the cotton isn't as soft as Whitesville's. The hand here is smoother and drier — part of what lets it hold structure — but if pillowy softness is the thing you care about most, the Whitesville wins that specific contest. I'd rather have the fit and the durability, which is why these are the ones in rotation. At $120 for two ($60 a tee) they aren't cheap, but they're made in LA, preshrunk, and built to last — and you're buying a fit, not a logo. Worth it if you want a clean, slightly relaxed everyday tee with enough structure that it won't cling or wrinkle. Skip if you want the softest possible hand, a tight muscle-fit cut, or a cropped length — these run a little long and are built for tucking, not for sitting high at the waist.
